OpenVitals
Private Health Connect dashboard
新版本 2.6.4
Body Energy now tells a good night from a bad one: overnight charge reflects sleep efficiency, time awake and your deep and REM share, not just how long you were in bed. Weight and the other body measures draw a trend line over week, month and year instead of a calendar of dots. Nutrition periods lead with a daily average. Fixes: Garmin step counts no longer come up short, entry lists stay expanded after a swipe delete, and max heart rate is no longer guessed.
OpenVitals is a private Android dashboard for Health Connect. It helps you review activity, sleep, heart, body, hydration, nutrition, mindfulness, vitals, and optional cycle data in one local app.
Your health data stays on your device. OpenVitals has no account, no cloud sync, no ads, no analytics SDKs, and no app-level internet permission. The dashboard reads from Health Connect only after you grant permissions. Manual entries are written back to Health Connect only when you explicitly save them.
What you can do
* View a daily Health Connect dashboard with grouped health and fitness cards
* Explore period-based detail screens with Day, Week, Month, and Year views
* Review Daily Readiness with Body Energy, Training Readiness, HRV status, intensity minutes, physiological stress, adaptive goals, and local explanations
* Review steps, distance, calories, floors, elevation, and workout sessions
* Review sleep sessions, duration, and sleep stages
* Review heart rate, resting heart rate, HRV, blood pressure, SpO2, respiratory rate, body temperature, VO2 max, body metrics, beverages, hydration, caffeine, nutrition, and mindfulness data when available
* Review Fat-Free Mass Index (FFMI) when weight, height, and body fat data are available
* Add and edit OpenVitals-created beverage, body measurement, vitals, mindfulness, and activity entries directly in Health Connect
* Log beverages from presets or custom drinks with hydration, caffeine, and selected nutrition defaults
* Track achievement badges for activity, distance, floors, workouts, hydration, sleep, and mindfulness milestones
* Import GPX, KML, KMZ, and FIT activity routes, preview them, and save route-backed workouts
* Import supported Apple Health export records into Health Connect
* Record GPS activities with pause, resume, finish, discard, route preview, distance, elevation, moving time, configurable recording dashboard, Focus mode, keep-screen-on support, and a persistent recording notification
* Connect experimental Bluetooth LE heart-rate, cadence, power, and footpod sensors during activity recording, including heart-rate monitoring for supported strength and repetition training
* Estimate active and total calories for imported and recorded activities before saving
* Enable opt-in hydration reminders with active hours and daily-goal pause logic
* Choose calendar periods or rolling 7, 30, and 365-day date windows
* Choose metric or imperial units
* Grant sensitive cycle permissions only when you want that data shown
Why OpenVitals
* Private by design: no account, no cloud sync, no ads, no analytics
* Dashboard focused: the home screen is read-only unless you choose to add an entry
* Health Connect as source of truth: OpenVitals does not keep a separate health record database
* Permission-aware: use one-tap setup or grant clear data categories individually, then change permissions later
* Open source: code, release notes, and builds are available for review
Requirements
OpenVitals requires Health Connect. On Android 14 and newer, Health Connect is part of Android. On Android 13 and older, install the Health Connect app separately.

新版本 2.6.3
Your Garmin watch can now stay connected: live heart rate and steps on the dashboard, weather from a phone weather app, your calendar on the wrist, find-my-phone that rings even on silent, and imported GPS ephemeris for second-long fixes. A watch tile with a sync button joins the dashboard, onboarding gains a Grant all button, and the sleep score is rebuilt on published sleep-science pillars. Plus fixes to cardio load accuracy and body tile navigation.
新版本 2.6.2
Log HRV manually: an RMSSD value in ms saved to Health Connect, editable and deletable like other manual vitals. Date and time pickers on every new vitals entry, not only when editing. Fixes: switching days responds instantly without replaying animations or showing the old day's numbers, the small weekly cardio tile no longer loads forever, returning from a metric keeps your widget page, no stray dot ending the hydration graph, and same-day sleep windows file nights correctly.
