A small widget fix: narrow, tall widgets use their available space for wrapped titles and event icons again. The preview follows the same layout, and counts stay legible with larger text. No new features or permissions; your countdowns and backups keep working as before.
CountAway keeps important dates simple and visible on your home screen.
Create multiple local countdowns, choose an event type or custom icon, and add compact or resizable widgets. Widgets can follow one fixed event or automatically show your next upcoming countdown, with independent appearance and background choices. Countdowns can optionally repeat weekly, monthly, or yearly. Monthly dates keep their original day when possible and use the last valid day in shorter months.
Optional local reminders can alert you on the event day or 1, 3, or 7 days before. Countdown data can also be exported and restored with a local JSON backup file.
Everything stays on your device. No accounts, ads, analytics, cloud synchronization, or Internet permission.

Yearly countdowns now work across the app, widgets, sharing, backups, and reminders. Storage/imports, reminder retries, date/time changes, and concurrent edits are safer. Widgets follow the real System theme, restore reliably, adapt to more sizes, and can be pinned from a saved countdown. Accessibility, large-text handling, and release validation are also improved.
