Setup: make Bondwidth your phone app in one step, no separate permission pop-ups. Bonds: long-press to select several and remove them at once. Calls: optionally block private and hidden numbers (they show in Recents as blocked). Dual-SIM: remember which SIM to use for each number. Share a contact as a card that saves in one tap, or as text. Fixes calls started by other apps waiting for a SIM choice.
Bondwidth is an all-in-one phone, contacts, and relationship app that works entirely on your device. No accounts, no servers, no tracking — and it quietly helps you stay close to the people who matter.
Friendship is small attentions, often. Set a check-in cadence for each person and Bondwidth gently flags who's getting too quiet, so you can reach out before silence becomes a habit. Birthdays and anniversaries are remembered for you, and the calls you make are counted automatically.
Private by design
* No internet permission at all — the app cannot reach the network, and its build pipeline fails if that ever changes.
* No accounts, no servers, no cloud. Everything stays in the app's private storage on your device.
* No analytics, no ads, no third-party trackers.
* Optional encrypted backups (AES-256-GCM) that only you can open.
* Optional biometric app lock and a "hide from screenshots" mode.
Phone
* Default dialer with its own in-call screen, Picture-in-Picture, and per-contact ringtones.
* T9 smart dial, speed dial, and dual-SIM call routing.
* Block numbers, missed-call notifications, call history and search.
* Colour-coded call directions, with optional WhatsApp / Signal shortcuts.
Contacts
* Browse, create, edit and delete contacts, with group filtering.
* Typed phone numbers, emails, postal address, website, organisation, notes and birthday.
* Find and merge duplicates; import and export vCard files.

* Per-person check-in cadence with gentle overdue nudges.
* Birthday and anniversary reminders, with a "Mark as wished" action.

Fixes the app closing right after a fresh install, or whenever contacts access is not granted. Fixes a crash opening call history without call-log access. Fixes "App not installed" when updating a test build downloaded from GitHub: releases now install over those builds and keep your data. Test builds now install separately as "Bondwidth (dev)".

Bonds now stay linked to their contact when you rename it, and a bond whose contact was deleted is flagged so you can relink it. Dialpad: backspace sits beside the call button (hold to clear). Contacts: the search bar scrolls out of the way, search also finds organisation, nickname, notes and email, and you can add contacts to groups. Add a bond from your recent calls. New opt-in automatic backup to a folder you choose. Safer vCard import.
