CHRONOS allows you to schedule SMS message delivery for a specific date and time, without replacing your default messaging app.

SMS Scheduling
• Pick the recipient from your contacts or enter a number manually
• Compose your message and select the scheduled date and time
• Edit or delete a message before it is sent

Status Tracking
• SCHEDULED: awaiting delivery
• SENT: message transmitted successfully
• FAILED: scheduled time elapsed while device was off, or network error
• CANCELLED: deleted before delivery

Message Templates
• Create pre-recorded message templates
• Insert them in one tap when composing

Complete History
• View upcoming messages in the "Upcoming" tab
• Consult past message history in the "History" tab

Reliability
• Messages are automatically rescheduled after device reboot
• If the device was powered off at the scheduled time, the message is marked FAILED (no unexpected late delivery)

Privacy
• Zero data sent over the Internet
• All data remains stored locally on your device
• SMS and Contacts permissions used strictly for core functionality

Versions

Although APK downloads are available below to give you the choice, you should be aware that by installing that way you will not receive update notifications and it's a less secure way to download. We recommend that you install the F-Droid client and use that.

      Allows the app to read data about your contacts stored on your phone. Apps will also have access to the accounts on your phone that have created contacts.       Allows the app to have itself started as soon as the system has finished booting. This can make it take longer to start the phone and allow the app to slow down the overall phone by always running.
    • Schedule precisely timed actions
      This app can schedule work to happen at a desired time in the future. This also means that the app can run when you're not actively using the device.
    • send and view SMS messages
      Allows the app to send SMS messages. This may result in unexpected charges. Malicious apps may cost you money by sending messages without your confirmation.

      Allows the app to prevent the phone from going to sleep.
