XMRPod

Podcast player with Monero tipping support.

XMRPod is an open-source Android podcast player with Monero tipping support for creators on XMRChat. No tracking, no analytics, no ads.

The playback screen includes a Tip action for podcasts whose creators have an XMRChat page. Discovery happens entirely on your device: XMRPod downloads a single generic list of public creator pages and matches your subscribed feeds against it locally. Your podcast titles, feed URLs, and listening activity are never sent anywhere.

Sending a tip is the only user-initiated call to XMRChat. XMRPod creates a tip payment address with the listener name, amount, and optional message, then hands the payment URI to a Monero wallet such as Cake Wallet.

Versions

Although APK downloads are available below to give you the choice, you should be aware that by installing that way you will not receive update notifications and it's a less secure way to download. We recommend that you install the F-Droid client and use that.
