Rocinante

Fast, private, and native client for the BookWyrm literary social network.
Rocinante is a native Android client for connecting to any BookWyrm instance, the federated social network for readers. Designed with a focus on privacy and performance, it allows you to manage your reading habits without relying on closed platforms or algorithms.

Key features:
- Timeline interaction (ActivityPub): post updates, reply, and like.
- Library management: organize books in default shelves (To Read, Reading, Read).
- Progress tracking: update read pages synchronized with the server.
- Local reminders: configurable daily notifications from the device, without network usage, to encourage reading habits.
- Community exploration: view reviews, currently reading books, and other users' profiles.
- Free and open-source software: transparent code under GPLv3 license, with no trackers or proprietary dependencies.

Versions

Although APK downloads are available below to give you the choice, you should be aware that by installing that way you will not receive update notifications and it's a less secure way to download. We recommend that you install the F-Droid client and use that.
