Brix
Mic level meter: segmented bars next to the mute slot; clipping held for 1.5 s; level shown grey while muted (measured before mute, stream stays silent); updates capped at 10 Hz.
Link import: only one server stays active after importing a brix:// or moblin:// link.
About: licence corrected to GPL-3.0.
And when one network isn't enough, it can bond several links into a single stream, so the broadcast survives the walk from Wi-Fi to cellular instead of falling apart on the way. That part needs your own SRTLA-capable receiver.
An open alternative to the closed IRL apps on Android.
THIS IS A BETA
It works and has been used on air, but on a single device — a Samsung S21. Untested: MP4 recording over long sessions, Moblink with a real second phone. WHIP sometimes fails to connect on the first try — starting again helps. A Bluetooth headset microphone does not work yet: recording stays on the built-in one. The full list of limitations is in the project description on GitHub.
TRANSPORT
* SRTLA — bonds several links into one stream. The SRT and SRTLA client is written from scratch, not a wrapper around someone else's library.
* Plain SRT for receivers without SRTLA; the URL scheme picks the mode.
* RTMP and WHIP for when bonding isn't needed.
* Per-link priorities and weights, reconnect after a drop.
* Adaptive bitrate: RTT and its jitter, send buffer size, window-forced losses. Three aggressiveness profiles.
VIDEO AND AUDIO
* 720p and 1080p, H.264 and HEVC, hardware encoder.
* Scenes: camera, a "be right back" still, or screen capture. Each carries its own overlays, camera side and audio mode.
* Lens selection, zoom, torch, tap to focus, optical and electronic stabilisation controlled separately.
* Microphone selection: built-in, wired or USB.
* On-screen microphone level meter: clipping and mute are visible at a glance.
* A first-run wizard; settings offer only the capture modes your phone actually supports.
AUDIENCE
* Twitch, Kick and VK Video Live chat in one feed, anonymously, with emotes. Shown to the streamer only, never in the stream.
* Donation overlays for DonationAlerts, DonatePay, iHAQ, Donatty and donate.stream: image and caption drawn straight into the frame, with the donation sound optionally mixed in.
* Any web page as a source of picture in the frame.
ALSO
* Moblink: another phone contributes its link as an extra uplink.
* MP4 recording alongside the broadcast, from the same encoder.
* Configurable HUD and quick buttons on the streamer screen.
* Session log: power, temperature and transport figures once per second, for outings where no debugger can be attached.
REQUIREMENTS
Android 10 or newer and a hardware encoder. Bonding needs a receiver that speaks SRTLA and several networks at once.

meter; DonatePay, iHAQ and other donation services; chat emotes; WHIP to http://
servers. Fixed: bonding failed when the first link to connect was dead; Reconnect
left SRTLA stuck; plain SRT died when leaving Wi-Fi; mute in the phone-audio scene;
the mascot loaded the CPU.
