keepIT
A roomier editor: the tools float above the navigation bar, Markdown is styled as you type, and Enter continues a list. Notes now read exactly as on the web, and tapping an unusual link can no longer crash the app. When it can't sync, the app now says why.
Running your own server? Update it to 0.8.1 too: most of the sign-out fix is there.
Open it and start writing. No account, no setup, no connection: everything is stored on the device first, so keepIT is instant and works offline. When you want the same notes on your other devices, run the free and open-source keepIT server and they sync in real time. You can start without one and connect a server later - your notes come with you.
- Notes and checklists, with Markdown as you type
- Voice notes - record one and play it back, straight from your list
- Photos from your camera or gallery
- Reminders that fire on time, offline and with the app closed
- Colors, pins, lists, archive and search to keep it findable
- Share a note with someone to view or edit (needs a server)
- Home-screen widget, and text shared in from other apps

Play a voice note from the notes list, without opening the note first.
Export and import: save everything to a file you keep, and load it back on another phone. Works without a server too. Importing only ever adds notes, so the same file twice gives you duplicates.
Running your own server? Update it to 0.8.0 as well, and check its proxy settings: voice notes and import need both.
The menu scrolls now, so with many lists, Notifications and Settings stay within reach.
Timestamps, counters and hints are easier to read, in the app and on the home-screen widget.
