Temperance Companion
- Added an F-Droid build that disables Health Connect on Android 13 and earlier while keeping habit tracking and local exports available.
- Improved habit-session lock behavior, including updating the lock state when the device is unlocked.
- Simplified the welcome screen title, and made the F-Droid notice dismissible.
Key Features:
- Habit Tracking: Track custom habits with elapsed-time timers and rep/quantity counters. Includes quick-increment presets and monotonic elapsed timing.
- Health Connect Integration: Reads permission-granted metrics (such as sleep, hydration, nutrition, steps, exercise, and heart rate) without third-party cloud sync.
- Vault Export: Exports verified JSON (habit-sync-staging.json) or CSV (habit-sync-staging.csv) directly into your chosen vault folder using Android Storage Access Framework.
- Customizable & Reorderable: Create habits with custom units, drag-and-drop ordering, and customizable quick increments.
- 100% Offline & Private: Requires NO Internet permission. Zero telemetry, zero analytics, zero developer backend. Your data never leaves your device unless synced by your chosen vault sync tool.
Note: Health Connect features are available on Android 14 and newer. For Android 9–13 devices, Health Connect is intentionally disabled by design to comply with F-Droid guidelines and avoid non-free dependencies (the nonfreedep anti-feature). All core habit-tracking and offline vault staging functions remain fully available.
