**About the migration**

- Trackbook previously used osmdroid to display its maps. Sadly osmdroid development was stopped and the library archived in November 2024.
- Due to security concerns, Trackbook had to switch to a mapping engine that is under active development.
- Offline Mapsforge-based maps are not available anymore in v2.5.x

Trackbook is a bare bones app for recording your movements. Trackbook is great
for hiking, vacation or workout. Once started it traces your movements on a map.
The map data is provided by OpenStreetMap (OSM).
