Version 2.18.0. Password-protected devices (the password of their web interface): entered when adding or in Edit device, encrypted on the phone, never exported nor logged; Hestia stops as soon as it's refused so the device doesn't lock itself. A protected plug can still be switched off by a smoke detector and relay its alerts, as long as the detector is protected too. The power-threshold cut-off notification now starts with the charging time.
Hestia controls your Shelly smart-home devices (Gen2 and later) directly on your local network, over HTTP, through their built-in API. No cloud, no account, no telemetry: nothing leaves your network, by default.
Features:
* Device dashboard: plugs, multi-outlet strips and smoke detectors, with state, consumption and switch. One tap opens a quick sheet, the full detail is one tap further.
* "On for X" timer executed by the device itself, fully autonomously (the phone can be turned off).
* Planning (recurring or one-time), with an optional power-threshold cutoff, for example at the end of a charge.
* Presence simulation: a script generated by the app runs on the device and switches on/off within a time window, with a random margin.
* Smoke detectors: state, battery, alarm mute, and the option to automatically cut a plug off during an alarm.
* Configurable physical button and LED on plugs.
* Firmware update from the app: check, install, restart the device.
* Backup and restore of your configuration in JSON format.
Options, all off by default and explained in Settings:
* Instant notifications via ntfy, sent by the devices themselves.
* Shelly Cloud: remote fallback for state and on/off, using your account key.
* Automatic firmware check, for devices that have Shelly Cloud enabled.
Privacy:
* Communicates only with the addresses you enter yourself.
* No network discovery, no tracking.
* The three options above are the only ones that send data outside your local network, and only if you turn them on.
* On Android 17 and later, the local network access permission is requested on first contact, preceded by a clear explanation.
Language: the app is available in French and English, and follows the system language (English by default, French if the device is set to French).
Independence: Hestia is an independent project, with no connection to Shelly or Allterco Robotics. It is neither commissioned, sponsored, nor endorsed by Shelly. No payment and no hardware were provided or lent by the brand. Shelly is a registered trademark of its respective owner; it is mentioned only for technical compatibility.

Although APK downloads are available below to give you the choice, you should be aware that by installing that way you will not receive update notifications and it's a less secure way to download. We recommend that you install the F-Droid client and use that.

Smoke alert relay: Hestia now tries to cover up to 5 devices (redundancy) instead of stopping at the first one that answers, and a relay script already in place before this update now updates itself (charge duration in the notification included). Version 2.11.0. Power-threshold cutoff (Active for, schedules, button timer): the notification now shows how long it charged for (e.g. "after 1h32"). Fixed: the quick sheet for an outlet within a multi-outlet block showed a power reading frozen at the moment it opened; it now updates live, same as the tile. Live power draw also now shows on the full Detail screen.
