BlowTorch 2
The mapper can build a map from room ids in the game text, without GMCP. .login and .password send the account stored on the world. .icon set changes a button's picture. Hold a recent-command chip to read it, then lift to send.
Text between buttons is no longer swallowed. Browse no longer draws new rooms. A quick walk no longer pulls the map marker back. Deleting a server asks you to type its name.
This app connects you to a MUD: a multiplayer text game over telnet. Add a host and port, connect, and you are in.

Menus, settings, and Help are in English. Daily play needs little of the toolkit; when you want more, open Help in the app or the user guide on GitHub.
Everyday play (some options might need to be turned on):
• On-screen buttons that send commands
• Suggestions from the text on the screen
• Stay connected with the screen off; the notification shows how long you have been on
• Growable input bar, search in scrollback, two-finger copy
• ANSI colours, optional session log, in-app Help
When you want more:
• Eight-way swipe, hold, and accordion (MORE) on a button; swap a set with a loadset
• Telnet plus GMCP, MCP, MXP, MSDP, MSSP, MCCP, MTTS; ANSI, 256-colour, truecolour, OSC 8 links
• Triggers, aliases, timers, and Lua plugins
• Extra text windows, a chat drawer, tappable words
• HP bars, rings, and countdowns
• Mapper (experimental), speedwalks, per-world settings
• A trigger or timer can read a line aloud
No ads, no analytics, no BlowTorch cloud account. Connects only to hosts you add. The F-Droid build does not contact GitHub on start. Lua plugins run with the app's privileges, so only load ones you trust. "All files access" is optional — settings, backups, and logs can live in /BlowTorch/. You can refuse it and still play; import and export use the system file picker. Details

Although APK downloads are available below to give you the choice, you should be aware that by installing that way you will not receive update notifications and it's a less secure way to download. We recommend that you install the F-Droid client and use that.

A button can show a custom icon instead of a colored pad, and its label can use a different font. One Opacity fades the pad, the icon, and the label together. One button can keep text off it, or let text draw under it.
Text no longer slides under a button. A gag on several lines no longer prints an error. A fast flick no longer opens copy.
.last resends what you just typed. Recent commands as a window, chips, or a bar above the input. Each world keeps its own unfinished line.
.pick insert fills the bar instead of sending. New trigger from text you selected. .triger names .trigger and is not sent.
#5/1s north sends north five times, a second apart. The map can hide its title bar and tools. Heatmap counts stay readable.
